Abstract

One of the great things about the internet, is anyone can write anything about anything. One of the problems with the internet IS, anyone can write anything about anything! For Enterprise Architecture, the Google popularity tool (also thought of by some as a search engine!), shows 811,000,000 search entries for Enterprise Architecture. Not really very useful.

This presentation will try to bring some method to this madness. We will briefly trace enterprise architecture back to its actual roots and beginning (1966), provide a concise definition of Enterprise Architecture, discuss the requirements for addressing Enterprise Change Velocity to provide an Agile Enterprise Environment, and the role of Data in Enterprise Architecture.
